Nina's Pontiki Cruises was established in 2022 by Nina Dellinger and Elder Carias. Nina, an American, met Elder, a Belizean and local, on the beautiful Caribbean island of Caye Caulker and it truly was "love at first sight". Together they reside on the island as the owners and operators of the Friki Tiki. Nina's background in five star resort style hospitality combined with Elder's tour guide and captain credentials make their tiki boat experience a "MUST" when visiting the amazing island of Caye Caulker!

Owner/Captain/Tour Guide
Elder Carias
Elder was raised on the island of Caye Caulker and went to High School in Belize City. He holds his boat Captain's License and Belizean Tourism Board Tour Guide License. Elder is also part owner of Nina's Pontiki Cruises. Prior to working in the tourism industry, Elder worked in construction and home building. He is also in water rescue certified and first aid certified. In his free time Elder enjoys spending time with his 5 year old daughter, Ellie and playing soccer. Elder is ready to answer all of your questions about Caye Caulker and Belize, and will even be your DJ for the best local music to play during your cruise!

Kayshawn Flores
Kayshawn was born and raised in Belize and loves to be on the sea, whether he is fishing during his free time or aboard the Friki Tiki assisting his passengers and Captain. Kayshawn is currently enrolled to complete his Belizean Tourism Board Tour Guide License. He is a valuable asset to our team here at Nina's Pontiki Cruises!

Nina Dellinger
Nina was born in Tucson, Arizona in the United States and went to High School in Oxnard, California. Prior to moving to Belize in 2022, Nina lived and worked as a Resort Manager in Ventura County, California. She is passionate about customer service and boasts an extensive work history in the hospitality industry. Nina has dreamt about living and working on the island of Caye Caulker since she first came to the island as a child. Together with Elder, she has made that dream a reality. Customer service is extremely important to Nina's Pontiki Cruises and Nina is ready to assist you in booking your cruise or private charter experience!
